Highlights from the 2025 ProcureForce User Conference
Last week we hosted ProcureForce customers for User Conference, bringing together users, procurement leaders, and our team to exchange ideas and share practical ways to get more value from the platform.
The sessions surfaced new features, future plans, and—most importantly—real stories from users applying ProcureForce in their daily work.
Hidden Gems and New Features
APD hosted a session on “hidden gems”—capabilities many customers have but don’t always take advantage of. Index management was a standout, showing how small improvements in setup can simplify day-to-day use.
We also previewed the new cost comparison screen, which makes it easy to compare quotes—even across different versions of a cost breakdown. This feature was built to save buyers time while giving them a cleaner, more reliable view of supplier costs.
Roadmap and User Priorities
APD also shared a draft product roadmap covering the next 18 months. Planned developments include usability improvements, expanded analytics, and deeper supplier collaboration tools.
Rather than simply presenting the roadmap, we asked attendees to prioritize their needs. Their input will directly shape what we build first.
Customer-Led Sessions
The highlight of the conference was customer presentations. Three companies shared how they’ve adapted ProcureForce to solve unique challenges in their workflows.
Supplier Portal
One customer demonstrated how they use the Supplier Portal to centralize supplier information. Suppliers are notified when documents need updates and handle the updates themselves.
The same portal is used to push surveys for fast, efficient data collection.
As they put it: “We’re more than happy with contact management and document management functions—the job has become much easier.”
Supplier Quote Request
Another company showed how they’ve set up structured quote request processes. Engineers and Program Managers can submit requests, and buyers decide whether to issue an RFQ or return the request for complete information.
The system enforces different data requirements depending on quote type, making upfront expectations clear.
As they noted: “We’re driving better results by managing the entry points to the system.”
Complex RFQs
A third customer demonstrated how ProcureForce simplifies issuing RFQs for entire BOMs with dozens of parts. Buyers can assign specific suppliers to each part so every supplier receives just the parts they can provide.
Tracking responses is straightforward, and costs can be compared at the detail level.
Takeaways
The conference made clear that ProcureForce is more than a sourcing tool—it’s a platform that adapts to how each organization works.
From hidden features to upcoming improvements, and from supplier management to complex RFQs, the sessions showed how customers are finding practical, measurable value.
We want to thank everyone who joined us and shared their experiences. The input and collaboration from our users continue to shape the future of ProcureForce.
